Position: Civil Site Engineer

Location: Tamil Nadu (Project Sites)

Department: Projects / Construction

Reporting to: Project Manager / Site In-charge

Role Summary - The Civil Site Engineer will be responsible for supervising, executing, and monitoring all civil construction activities at site, ensuring adherence to project drawings, specifications, quality, and safety standards. The role also involves coordination with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to achieve timely project completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and execute civil works such as RCC, masonry, plastering, flooring, finishing, etc.
• Study drawings, BOQ, and technical specifications before execution.
• Plan daily/weekly site activities, manpower, and material requirements.
• Ensure work is carried out as per IS codes, quality standards, and client specifications.
• Conduct quality checks – line, level, alignment, cube tests, material approvals, etc.
• Maintain DPR (Daily Progress Report), MB (Measurement Book), and assist in billing.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Ensure implementation of site safety measures and compliance with statutory norms.
• Handle labour management and resolve site-level issues.
• Prepare snag lists and support in handover documentation.
• Desired Candidate ProfileQualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
• Experience: 2–5 years (for Junior Engineer); 5–10 years (for Senior Engineer).

• Skills:
• Strong knowledge of civil execution and finishing works.
• Good understanding of drawings, BOQ, and construction methodology.
• Ability to manage labour and subcontractors effectively.
• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD (preferred).
• Strong communication in Tamil & English.
• Other Requirements: Willingness to travel and work at project sites across Tamil Nadu.
