Job Purpose

To plan, coordinate, and supervise civil construction activities at site, ensuring project execution is carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with approved drawings, quality standards, timelines, and budget.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Execute and monitor day-to-day civil construction activities at site
• Study and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and BOQs
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers
• Prepare work schedules and track progress as per project plan
• Ensure adherence to quality control procedures and construction standards
• Conduct site inspections, measurements, and material checks
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports
• Assist in quantity estimation, billing verification, and cost control
• Identify technical issues and support timely resolution
• Maintain proper site documentation and records
• Support project completion, testing, and handover activities

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering

Experience

• Minimum 2– 5 years of relevant experience in civil construction projects
• Experience in building / infrastructure / industrial projects (as applicable)

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of civil construction methods and site execution
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office (Excel, Word)
• Basic knowledge of project planning tools (MS Project / Primavera – preferred)
• Good communication, coordination, and reporting skills
• Ability to work under deadlines and site pressure
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
