Content Writer

Job Role/Purpose

Write clear, creative, and attractive copies without grammatical errors or typos. Create content

for blogs, feature/news articles, product descriptions, social media, and the company websites.

Responsibilities include conducting thorough research on industry-related topics, generating

ideas for new content types, and proofreading articles before publication.

Responsibilities

● Conduct in-depth research on industry-related topics to develop original content.

● Create compelling headlines and body copy that will capture the audience's attention.

● Research and write original SEO-ready content for the company website, blogs, articles,

publications, info-graphics, online communication, and content assets, including case

studies, emails, newsletters, social media, etc.

● Analyze, plan, create and write engaging and informative content for the target

audience.

● Create and develop business collateral such as news stories, articles, blogs, brochures,

presentations, etc., as outlined by the Senior Content Writer or Editor.

● Ability to write and handle content for E-commerce on various web platforms, add and

continuously update existing content, source images, and write image descriptions.

● Collaborate with other departments to create innovative and creative content.

● Understand the target audience.

● Create response templates on a wide range of process topics.

● Repurpose and optimize existing content for digital channels.

● Identify customers’ needs and recommend fresh content to address gaps in the

company's current content.

● The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

● Adapt to the company’s style of writing and editing.

Qualifications and Experience

● Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism or related field

● 6Months to 1 year of demonstrated experience in writing/editing/publishing web-specific

corporate content, preferably for a B2B service company

● Excellent writing skills, as well as the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively

● Proven work experience as a content writer, copywriter or similar role

● Portfolio of published articles

● Experience doing research using multiple sources

● Familiarity with web publications

● Excellent writing and editing skills

● Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems

● Ability to meet deadlines

● Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications

● The ability to handle multiple projects concurrently

● Effective communication skills
