Job Title: Data Entry Operator

Job Summary: The Data Entry Operator is responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining jewellery showroom data such as inventory, sales records, billing details, and customer information. The role ensures smooth backend operations and proper record management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enter daily sales, purchase, and inventory data into the system
• Maintain accurate records of jewellery stock (gold, silver, diamonds, etc.)
• Update product details such as weight, price, and design codes
• Generate and maintain invoices and billing records
• Verify data for errors and correct discrepancies
• Maintain customer database and purchase history
• Coordinate with sales and accounts teams for data accuracy
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports
• Ensure proper documentation and filing (digital and physical)
• Handle basic computer operations and showroom software

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency in MS Excel and basic computer applications
• Fast and accurate typing skills
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Basic knowledge of billing and inventory systems
• Good organizational skills

Minimum qualification: 12th pass or any degree

• Prior experience in retail or jewellery showroom is an advantage
• Work Environment:Jewellery showroom or office setup
• Mostly desk-based work
• May require coordination with multiple departments
• Salary Range : Based Upon Experience

Additional Qualities Preferred: Trustworthy and responsible (handling valuable data)

• Ability to work under pressure during busy hours
• Basic understanding of gold weight, purity (karat), and pricing is a plus
