Design Engineer

Role : Design Engineer, Plumbing & Fire Protection Systems. 

Software Experience: AutoCAD Drafting ( mandatory). Revitt ( Optional)

he candidate should have worked in building / industrial Plumbing and Fire Protection system

General requirement for the candidate:

1. Skilled in CAD drafting. Ability to apply commands, layout sizing, scaling and other features for plumbing and Fire Protection ( Sprinkler and Hydrant) design. 

2. Basic knowledge local plumbing codes, Fire Protection codes including Indian standards and NFPA codes. 

3. Design experience in Building Plumbing Design which includes residential apartments ( 50 apartments or above), commercial buildings and small industrial buildings - Plumbing and Fire Protection systems. 

4. Ability to understand the architectural plan, sections and elevations 

5. Selection of pipe sizes for plumbing, pump sizing. 

6. Drafting of domestic water distribution, drain water distribution and storm water drain systems. 7. Sizing of fire pumps, tanks and UG sump capacity as per NBC 2016 guidelines, design of External, Internal Hydrant system and sprinkler system
