Job Description
- Responsible for preparing drawing using Solid Works Design Software & Auto CAD.
- Knowledge of designing / detailing assemblies and sub - assemblies of Products.
- Knowledge in preparation of layouts, assembly drawings, detailed manufacturing drawings with necessary GD & T, preparation of Bill of material, maintenance of ECN, Drawing Revisions and Change level maintenance.
- Create and update database of design records for future reference purposes.
- Perform other design, new product Development activities as required.
- Knowledge in New Product Development using Customer input and developing products through Reverse Engineering concepts, product life cycle testing, design development activities.
- Studying existing Products, processes and implementing improvements.
- Maintenance of design and new product development documents as per IATF 16949 QMS is must.
- Technical co-ordination with other functional departments like production, purchase, and marketing
- Participating in CFT (Cross-Functional Team) meetings, maintaining committed timelines and project files
