Electrician

To execute electrical installation, testing, and maintenance activities at construction sites by adhering to approved drawings and safety standards in order to ensure safe, high-quality, and timely project completion.

1. Roles & ResponsibilitiesInstall electrical wiring systems, conduits, cable trays, distribution boards, lighting fixtures, and earthing systems by following approved electrical drawings and project specifications to ensure accurate and compliant electrical infrastructure.
2. Interpret electrical layouts, schematics, and load schedules before execution by carefully reviewing technical drawings to minimize errors and avoid rework.
3. Test installed electrical systems and equipment by conducting continuity, insulation resistance, and functional tests to ensure safe and reliable operation prior to handover.
4. Diagnose and repair electrical faults, short circuits, and equipment malfunctions by using appropriate testing tools and systematic troubleshooting methods to reduce downtime and maintain uninterrupted site operations.
5. Comply with electrical safety standards and site regulations by using personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhering to lockout/tagout procedures to maintain an accident-free work environment.
6. Coordinate daily work activities with site engineers, supervisors, and other trades by communicating progress and aligning tasks with project schedules to support timely completion of milestones.
7. Maintain records of work completed and materials used by reporting daily progress to the reporting authority to ensure proper tracking and accountability.
