Finance Executive

Vendor Finance Executive manages financial aspects of vendor relationships, focusing on securing funding/credit for customers to buy goods, analyzing supplier financials (cash flow, costs), ensuring compliance (GST, TDS), handling payments, reporting (P&L, MIS), and optimizing supply chain finance through tools like trade credit or invoice financing, ensuring smooth operations and strong vendor support. 

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Analysis: Analyze vendor performance, cash flow, and cost structures.
• Credit & Funding: Facilitate customer financing for vendor purchases (trade credit, invoice financing).
• Compliance: Manage GST, TDS, PF, ESIC, and audit support.
• Reporting: Prepare financial reports, P&L statements, and Management Information Systems (MIS).
• Budgeting: Monitor and manage budgets and track spending.
• System Management: Use ERPs like Tally, manage vendor portals, and ensure data accuracy. 

Core Functions

• Supply Chain Finance: Bridge the gap between vendors needing timely payments and customers needing credit.
• Accounts Payable: Process invoices, manage reimbursements, and reconcile payments.
• Financial Modeling: Create projections and models for future financial planning. 

Typical Skills

• Strong accounting knowledge (GST, TDS)
• Proficiency in ERP software (Tally) and MS Office
• Analytical and financial modeling skills
• Communication for vendor/client interaction
