Human Resource Trainee – On-site (Chennai | Kotturpuram)

Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Trainee to support the Human Resources function in recruitment and HR operations. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical exposure to end-to-end recruitment processes, employee lifecycle management, and HR administration.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in sourcing potential candidates through job portals, social media platforms, and internal databases
• Screen and evaluate resumes in line with job requirements
• Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring teams
• Maintain and update recruitment trackers and candidate databases
• Follow up with candidates regarding interview status and onboarding formalities
• Support in employee onboarding, documentation, and record maintenance
• Assist in job postings and employer branding activities
• Ensure timely communication with candidates and internal stakeholders
• Provide administrative support to the HR department as required

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Basic understanding of HR functions and recruitment lifecycle
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks with attention to detail
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a professional environment
