Position: IPDRG Medical Coding/QA

Certification:- CIC & CCS Certification.

Location: Chennai

Experience: 3-5 Years

We are seeking an experienced IPDRG Medical Coding/QA to join our growing team in Chennai. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately assigning codes to medical procedures and diagnoses, ensuring compliance with coding guidelines and regulations, and conducting quality assurance reviews. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of IPDRG coding and QA experience, with a maximum of 5 years.

Responsibilities:

- Assign IPDRG codes to medical procedures and diagnoses using appropriate coding systems and guidelines

- Review medical charts and documentation to ensure accurate coding and compliance with regulations

- Conduct quality assurance reviews to identify coding errors and make necessary corrections

- Collaborate with healthcare providers and other team members to resolve coding issues

- Stay updated on changes in coding guidelines and regulations

Requirements:

- Minimum of 3 years of IPDRG coding and QA experience

- Familiarity with ICD and CPT coding systems

- Strong understanding of medical terminology and procedures

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Proficient in using coding software and electronic health record systems

- Certified as an IPDRG Medical Coder is preferred
