IT Store Manager – Job Description Location: Kovilambakkam, Chennai

Reports To: Retail Operations Manager / MD

SummaryResponsible for managing daily operations of an IT retail store, ensuring strong customer service, efficient inventory control, and achievement of sales targets. Requires solid knowledge of IT hardware, software, and networking products.

• Key ResponsibilitiesOversee daily store operations and ensure compliance with company standards.
• Lead and mentor the sales team to meet revenue and profit goals.
• Provide expert product knowledge on IT devices, accessories, and software.
• Manage inventory, stock forecasting, and supplier coordination.
• Resolve escalated customer issues and handle warranties/returns.
• Maintain vendor relationships and execute promotions/merchandising.
• Monitor sales reports and implement improvement strategies.
• Manage budgets, billing accuracy, and financial reporting.
• Handle staff hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
• Ensure data security and store safety policies are followed.
• QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business/IT/Marketing (preferred).
• 3–7 years’ IT or electronics retail experience.
• Strong knowledge of IT hardware, software licensing, and networking.
• Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with POS, inventory, and retail ERP systems.
