Job Description
Job Title: Laboratory Technician (Ortho Care Laboratory)
Location: Chennai
Employment Type: Full-time
- Job Responsibilities:Collect, label, and process patient samples (blood, urine, tissue, etc.) accurately
- Conduct routine laboratory tests and assist in specialized diagnostic procedures
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments
- Ensure proper documentation and reporting of test results
- Follow laboratory safety standards and hygiene protocols
- Maintain cleanliness and sterility of the laboratory
- Assist pathologists or senior technicians as required
- Requirements:Minimum education: Diploma or B.Sc in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT / BMLT)
- Relevant experience in a diagnostic or pathology laboratory preferred
- Basic knowledge of laboratory instruments and testing procedures
- Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail
- Willingness to work in shifts, if required
