🚨 We’re Hiring: Mechanical Design Engineer 🚨

Sri Sai Electroplating Automation Pvt Ltd is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team in Korattur, Chennai.

🔧 Role Overview

You will be responsible for designing and developing electroplating plant equipment and complete layout systems, including:

• PP Tanks, Electroplating Barrels, MS Structures and Transporter setups

• Scrubbers, Blowers, Filtration Systems

• Plant Layouts & Piping Design

👉 Candidates with Sheet Metal Industry experience and Layout Design expertise will be highly preferred.

🛠 Key Responsibilities

✔ Design electroplating equipment and full plant layouts

✔ Create accurate 2D drawings & 3D models (AutoCAD / SolidWorks)

✔ Develop tank structures (PP/PPH/FRP), MS frames & sheet metal components

✔ Prepare BOM and technical documentation

✔ Coordinate with production, fabrication & site teams

✔ Modify designs based on project and site requirements

✔ Ensure compliance with industrial standards and safety norms

🎯 Required Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD / SolidWorks / Solid Edge

• Strong knowledge in fabrication, sheet metal design & industrial equipment

• Experience in layout design and piping systems

• Basic understanding of electroplating or chemical processes (preferred)

• Knowledge of PP, FRP, MS materials

• Ability to read and create technical drawings

🎓 Eligibility

• Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering

• Experience: 2 to 3 years

• Freshers with strong design & software skills can also apply
