Medical Representative

A Medical Representative is responsible for promoting and selling pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals such as doctors, pharmacists, and hospital staff. The role involves building strong relationships with medical personnel, providing them with accurate product information, and achieving sales targets within an assigned territory.

• Key Responsibilities:Promote and sell pharmaceutical products to doctors, pharmacists, and healthcare institutions.
• Achieve sales targets and increase market share for the assigned products and territory.
• Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals to ensure long-term business growth.
• Conduct product presentations and deliver detailed medical information to doctors and other stakeholders.
• Organize medical conferences, CME programs, and promotional events in collaboration with the marketing team.
• Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and customer feedback to identify new business opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and ethical standards during all promotional activities.
• Maintain accurate records of daily visits, calls, and sales data.
• Prepare and submit reports (e.g., call reports, expense reports, market feedback) in a timely manner.
• Qualifications and Skills:Education: Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field.
• Experience:3+ years of experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent presentation and negotiation abilities.
• Good product knowledge and the ability to learn quickly.
• Self-motivated, target-driven, and organized.
• Valid driver’s license (for field visits).
• Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):Sales target achievement.
• Number of doctor visits per day/week/month.
• Market share growth for assigned products.
• New customer acquisition and retention.
• Quality and frequency of reporting and feedback.

Field-based job with regular travel within the assigned territory.

Interaction with hospitals, clinics, and pharmacies.

Occasional participation in conferences, workshops, and medical exhibitions.
