Key Responsibilities:

• Identify potential hazards in the workplace and conduct thorough risk assessments to determine the likelihood and severity of risks.
• Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety policies and procedures, ensuring they are effective and relevant to the workplace.
• Regularly monitor workplace conditions, safety procedures, and employee compliance with safety regulations, conducting audits to identify areas for improvement.
• Provide health and safety training to employees, ensuring they are aware of their responsibilities and how to work safely.
• Investigate workplace accidents and near misses, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Ensure that the organization complies with all relevant health and safety legislation and regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of health and safety activities, including inspections, audits, incidents, and training.
• Work closely with management and employees to promote a positive safety culture.
• Continuously identify areas for improvement in health and safety practices and implement changes to enhance workplace safety.
