Purchase Executive

Job Description:

We are looking for a Purchase Executive to handle procurement activities for our manufacturing operations. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing materials, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring timely supply of materials required for production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and develop reliable vendors for raw materials, consumables, and engineering components
• Obtain quotations from suppliers and perform price comparison
• Negotiate price, delivery timelines, and payment terms with vendors
• Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (PO)
• Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials
• Coordinate with production, stores, and accounts departments for material requirements and purchase documentation
• Maintain proper records of quotations, purchase orders, and supplier details
• Monitor material availability to avoid production delays
• Evaluate vendor performance and maintain vendor database.

Required Skills:

• Knowledge of procurement processes in manufacturing industry
• Good negotiation and vendor management skills
• Basic knowledge of engineering materials and components
• Proficiency in MS Excel and documentation
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Qualification:

• Any Degree / Diploma
• Candidates with Mechanical / Production background preferred.
