Job Description
- Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Quality / Manufacturing or related field
- Conduct in-process inspections at various stages of production
- Monitor production activities to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Perform first-piece approval before mass production
- Check raw materials, WIP (Work in Progress), and semi-finished goods
- Identify defects, deviations, and non-conformities
- Maintain inspection records and quality reports
- Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Coordinate with production team to resolve quality issues immediately
- Perform line clearance before starting production
- Verify calibration status of measuring instruments
- Conduct random sampling inspections as per quality plan
- Raise non-conformance reports (NCR) when required
- Support implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
