🧿 Position: Retail Gemmologist – Diamond Expertise Centre (DXC)🎯 Role PurposeThe Retail Gemmologist will be responsible for delivering diamond expertise, transparency, and trust to customers at the Diamond Expertise Centre (DXC).

The role involves identifying diamonds (Natural / Lab Grown / Non-diamond), educating customers, and supporting diamond and solitaire sales through expert demonstrations.

• 🛠️ Key Responsibilities🔹 Diamond Testing & IdentificationUse Diamond Caratmeter (LGD Detection Machine) to identify:
• 
  
• Natural Diamonds
• Lab Grown Diamonds (LGD)
• Non-diamonds (CZ, Moissanite, etc.)
• Clearly explain diamond authenticity and results to customers
• 🔹 Diamond & Solitaire DemonstrationUse Light Scope Ver 2.0 to demonstrate:
• 
  
• Brilliance
• Fire
• Scintillation
• Support sales of solitaires and premium diamond jewellery
• 🔹 Branding & TraceabilityUse Diamond Marking Viewer to demonstrate:
• 
  
• Tanishq logo engraving
• Unique UIN on diamonds
• Explain brand authenticity and traceability to customers
• 🔹 Clarity & Cut EducationUse Diamond Clarity Viewer (Microscope) to explain:
• 
  
• VVS, VS, SI, and I clarity grades
• Diamond inclusions as per GIA standards
• Use Hearts & Arrows Viewer to demonstrate:
• 
  
• Diamond symmetry and cut quality
• Classic solitaire features
• 🔹 Customer InteractionHandle high-value retail customers professionally
• Explain technical diamond concepts in simple, customer-friendly language
• Follow Tanishq’s trust-based selling standards
• 🎓 Training Provided (By Company)5-day certification course on Diamonds & 4Cs (GIA / GSI)
• 2–3 weeks hands-on training at DXC on machines and LGD identification
• 3-day soft skills training on customer handling and communication
• 🧠 Skills & EligibilityInterest in diamonds and jewellery
• Good communication and customer-handling skills
• Willingness to learn technical tools and machines
• Fresher or experienced candidates can apply
• 🎓 QualificationAny graduate / diploma
