Job Description

We’re hiring for B2B Field Sales Manager

Company: Maran Logistics – Authorized Franchise of Delhivery

Location: Padur, Chennai.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and result-oriented B2B Field Sales Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating leads, acquiring new business clients, and expanding our presence in specific territories. This role requires on-ground visits and direct client interactions.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field
  • 4–7 years of experience in sales, preferably in the logistics/courier industry
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and business growth

Desired Skills:

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office & CRM tools
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
  • Ability to travel within assigned territory

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

1.  Sales & Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue new B2B opportunities across designated locations
  • Build and nurture relationships with existing clients for repeat business
  • Conduct in-person meetings, presentations, and follow-ups with potential clients
  • Negotiate terms and close deals to achieve monthly and quarterly targets

2.   Customer Relationship Management:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service and post-sale support
  • Act as a key point of contact for client queries and escalations
  • Ensure high client satisfaction and long-term retention

3.   Market Insights & Strategy:

  • Stay updated with market trends, competitor activity, and client needs
  • Share insights with internal teams to develop effective marketing campaigns

4.  Reporting & Coordination:

  • Maintain accurate sales records and activity logs
  • Provide regular updates on pipeline, forecasts, and conversions
  • Attend internal meetings, training programs, and industry events
