Senior Accountant

Job Profile: Senior : AccountantJob SummaryThe Senior Accountant will be responsible for end-to-end accounting operations with complete ownership of GST and TDS compliances. The role involves close coordination with company auditors, supporting management in financial reconciliations, and flexibility to meet statutory and business timelines.

Key Responsibilities·       

 Maintain books of accounts, General Ledger, Accounts Payable & Receivable

·        Verify Trial Balance, Profit & Loss Account, and Balance Sheet,BR & Leder Scrutiny

·        End-to-end handling of GST compliances (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, ITC reconciliation, notices)

·        End-to-end handling of TDS compliances (deduction, payment, returns, Form 16/16A)

·        Coordinate with the company’s auditors for finalisation of GST, TDS, and Income Tax returns

·        Handle statutory notices and coordinate with consultants and authorities

·        Assist management in reconciliation of receivables and unbilled revenue

·        Prepare MIS reports and financial statements as required

·        Be flexible with working hours during audits, month-end closing, and statutory deadlines

Skills & Competencies·        

Strong hands-on knowledge of GST and TDS

·        Ability to independently manage statutory compliances

·        Experience in coordinating with auditors

·        Proficiency in Tally / ERP and MS Excel

·        High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

Qualifications·        B.Com / M.Com

Experience·        Minimum 2 years of relevant experience

·        Mandatory hands-on experience in GST and TDS
