SENIOR DESIGN ENGINEER - JD

Job Description

· Responsible for collection of the scope of work from the customer by a site visit, by mail, or by telephonic call

· Prepare the conceptual design and budgetary quote and propose with the customer

· After approval, design the special-purpose machine(detailed design) according to the customer requirements

· Prepare the detailed costing sheet for the designed machine and share the design with the drafter

· Verify the drafted drawings with respect to functional, DFM, and DFA.

· BOM preparation

· Project-Hand our documents preparation

· Supplier clarifications if required

Knowledge required

· Good knowledge in any CAD design(Autodesk Inventor is preferable)

· Good exposure to market availability of standard products

· Cost estimation of standard products and manufacturing process

· Good knowledge in fabrication and machining, DFM, DFA

· Documentation knowledge

· B.E Mechanical ( Required )

· Experience : 3-5 Years
