Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Site Engineer located in Chennai, overseeing our premium gated community project – White Town Villas (24 Villas) in Guduvancherry.

The Senior Site Engineer will work closely with the Project Manager and coordinate with site engineers, contractors, and vendors to ensure smooth day-to-day site operations. The role focuses on execution excellence, quality control, progress monitoring, and maintaining workflow efficiency across multiple villas.

The candidate will play a key role in ensuring construction activities are carried out as per approved drawings, timelines, and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate with the Project Manager for planning and execution of daily site activities.

- Supervise and guide site engineers for smooth workflow management.

- Monitor villa-wise construction progress and ensure milestone completion.

- Ensure work execution as per approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

- Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks.

- Manage manpower allocation and contractor performance.

- Coordinate with procurement team for timely material availability.

- Ensure proper implementation of safety protocols at site.

- Maintain daily progress reports and update the Project Manager.

- Identify site challenges and provide practical solutions to avoid delays.

- Ensure proper documentation of measurements and billing support.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (B.E / B.Tech – Civil) - (Diploma in Civil Engineering with strong experience may also be considered).

- 5–8 years of experience in residential construction projects.

- Minimum 2+ years in a Senior Site Engineer role preferred.

- Experience in villas, independent houses, or gated community projects is an advantage.

Required Skills

- Strong site execution and supervision capabilities.

- Good knowledge of structural and finishing works.

- Ability to manage multiple villas simultaneously.

- Experience in quality inspection and monitoring.

- Knowledge of construction sequencing and scheduling.

- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Excel.

- Strong coordination and team management skills.

- Good communication and reporting skills.

- Problem-solving ability with proactive site handling.
