Job Description
- 1. Installation & CommissioningInstall and commission laser machines (cutting, marking, engraving, or welding) at customer premises.
- Conduct machine calibration, alignment, and performance validation as per company standards.
- Provide on-site technical training to operators and maintenance staff.
- 2. Maintenance & TroubleshootingDiagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and optical issues in laser machines.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure reliable machine performance.
- Respond promptly to service calls and resolve customer complaints efficiently.
- Maintain detailed service reports and documentation for every visit.
- 3. Customer SupportProvide technical assistance to customers via phone, email, or remote support tools.
- Build strong customer relationships by ensuring timely follow-up and support.
- Escalate complex technical issues to the R&D or design team for further analysis.
- Educate customers on proper machine operation, safety practices, and maintenance procedures.
- 4. Coordination & ReportingCoordinate with the service team, logistics, and production departments for spare parts and warranty claims.
- Maintain records of installations, service visits, and parts replaced in ERP or service tracking systems.
- Prepare service reports, feedback forms, and maintain data for performance evaluation.
- Report field feedback and suggestions for product improvements to the R&D team.
- Qualifications & Skills:Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- 2–5 years of experience in servicing or maintenance of laser machines, Electrical PLC & CNC machines, or industrial automation equipment.
- Hands-on experience in troubleshooting electrical circuits, motion systems, and control panels.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and measurement instruments.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer-handling skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively for service assignments.
