Job Title: Store Manager – Operations

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Store Manager – Operations to oversee end-to-end store operations, manage multiple delivery routes, and ensure seamless last-mile execution. The role requires strong leadership, operational excellence, and the ability to manage people, processes, and performance to meet service-level agreements.



Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily store operations, including inbound, picking, packing, dispatch, and last-mile delivery.
  • Handle and optimize multiple delivery routes, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.
  • Monitor route productivity, delivery TAT, rider utilization, and cost efficiency.
  • Lead, train, and manage store staff, delivery executives, and supervisors.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy, shrinkage control, audits, and stock availability.
  • Drive adherence to SOPs, safety, and compliance standards.
  • Analyze operational KPIs such as OT, premature logouts, absenteeism, productivity, and losses.
  • Coordinate with City Ops, Supply Chain, HR, and Loss Prevention teams.
  • Handle escalations related to customer issues, delivery failures, and manpower gaps.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality and efficiency.



Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of operations management and last-mile logistics
  • Hands-on experience in route planning and route handling
  • People management and team leadership skills
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze operational reports
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills



Eligibility Criteria

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Operations (Retail / E-commerce / Q-Commerce / Logistics)
  • Proven experience in handling multiple routes and delivery operations
  • Exposure to store or hub management is mandatory
  • Willingness to work in rotational shifts and handle business exigencies



Preferred Background    

  • Experience in bigbasket, Blinkit, Swiggy Instamart, Zepto, Amazon, or similar Q-commerce platforms
  • Knowledge of inventory control, audits, and loss prevention
