Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and customer-friendly Sales Associate to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting customers, organizing merchandise, and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience in our home needs and toy sections.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers with enthusiasm and professionalism.
• Provide detailed information about home needs and toy products.
• Maintain product displays and ensure shelves are well-stocked and clean.
• Help customers locate items and make recommendations based on their needs.
• Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and stocking merchandise.
• Monitor inventory levels and report low stock to the store manager.
• Participate in regular stock counts and product rotation.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns professionally.
• Stay informed about current promotions and new product arrivals.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous retail or sales experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a team and handle pressure during peak hours.
• Flexibility to work on weekends, holidays, and in shifts.
• Basic math skills for handling cash and billing.
• Preferred Skills:Knowledge of home utility items and toys.
• Fluency in Tamil; English is a plus.
• Customer-centric attitude and a friendly personality.
