Stores & Inventory Supervisor

The Stores & Inventory Supervisor will be responsible for end-to-end control of materials movement, including branch requirements, stock checking, inward verification, outward dispatch, and bill-to-bill matching, ensuring accuracy and accountability.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

1. Branch Requirement & Planning

• Collect daily/weekly material requirements from branches
• Check available stock in warehouse/godown
• Plan and allocate stock as per priority and availability

2. Inward Goods Handling

• Receive goods from suppliers and other parties
• Verify bill to bill, quantity, and item description
• Match invoice, PO, and physical stock
• Report shortages, excess, or damages immediately

3. Outward & Branch Dispatch

• Prepare material for branch dispatch
• Ensure correct items, quantity, and documentation
• Coordinate movement of stock to branches
• Confirm receipt acknowledgement from branch

4. Stock Control & Verification

• Maintain accurate inward & outward stock records
• Support periodic stock verification and audits
• Ensure no mismatch between physical stock and records

5. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain inward register, outward register, and transfer records
• Share daily/weekly stock movement reports with management/accounts
• Coordinate with Accounts team for billing & reconciliation

6. Discipline & Responsibility

• Ensure proper storage, safety, and handling of materials
• Prevent loss, misuse, or unauthorised movement of stock
• Follow company procedures strictly

Required Skills & Qualification

• Minimum 3–5 years experience as Store / Warehouse / Inventory Supervisor
• Strong understanding of PO, invoice, GRN, inward–outward process
• Experience in trading / manufacturing / retail
• Basic computer knowledge (Excel / stock software preferred)
• Honest, organised, and detail-oriented

• Reports to: Operations / Management
• Coordinates with: Branches, Accounts, Warehouse Team
