AC Technician

Job Purpose.

To ensure smooth functioning of electrical and air conditioning systems across all Royaloak locations, including stores, warehouses, and corporate offices. The role involves installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting to uphold operational efficiency and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Air Conditioning Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and repair all types of air conditioning units (Split, Window, Cassette, and Central).

• Perform preventive maintenance, filter cleaning, and gas refilling as per schedule.
• Diagnose and resolve A/C system faults such as compressor, thermostat, or leakage issues.
• Maintain detailed service and maintenance logs for all A/C equipment.

2.Electrical Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, panels, and sockets.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify and rectify electrical hazards.
• Repair or replace defective components such as switches, plugs, or fuses.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety and load management standards.
• Support DG set and UPS operations during power outages.

3.General Maintenance & Support:

• Support store and warehouse operations in facility upkeep.
• Coordinate with vendors for external repairs or equipment servicing.
• Maintain tools and ensure all maintenance work is documented and reported.
• Respond promptly to breakdowns or emergency maintenance requirements.

4.Skills & Competencies

• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC and electrical systems.
• Hands-on troubleshooting and repair expertise.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Knowledge of safety and preventive maintenance procedures.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision and meet deadlines.

Qualification & Experience

• ITI / Diploma in Electrical or Refrigeration & Air Conditioning.
• 2–5 years of experience in electrical and A/C maintenance (retail, facility, or industrial environment preferred).

Working Conditions

• May require working on weekends or shifts.
• Travel to different store or warehouse locations as required.
• Must adhere to company safety and conduct policies.
