Job Title: Accountant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to manage financial records, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations. The ideal candidate will support day-to-day accounting operations and contribute to accurate financial decision-making.

• Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain and update financial records, ledgers, and journals
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies
• Prepare and file tax returns (GST, TDS, income tax, etc., as applicable)
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, laws, and company policies
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Support internal and external audits
• Monitor expenses and control costs
• Coordinate with management, auditors, and regulatory authorities
• Qualifications & RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Professional certification (CA, CMA, CPA, or equivalent) is a plus
• Proven experience as an Accountant or similar role
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP) and MS Excel
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to meet deadlines and work independently
• Preferred SkillsKnowledge of local tax laws and statutory compliance
• Experience in financial reporting and audit coordination
• Good communication and organizational skills
