Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing our company's financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting software, excellent analytical skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and ledgers.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Process payroll and ensure timely and accurate payments.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting.
• Conduct regular bank reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with tax filings (e.g., GST/TDS).
• Support internal and external audits.
• Utilize accounting software (e.g., Tally Prime, MS Excel) for daily operations and reporting.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to management.
• Handle other accounting and finance-related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: Proven experience as an Accountant.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally Prime, Tally ERP, or similar.
• Strong command of MS Excel for financial analysis and reporting.
• Familiarity with GST/TDS filing and other tax regulations.
• Language Skills: Good command of English is preferred for clear communication and report writing.
• Additional Skills (Optional but Recommended):
• Experience with MS Access, MS PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
