Accountant/ Accounts Executive

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Executive to join our finance team in the shipping industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and supporting financial reporting. Prior experience in auditor office will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle accounts payable and receivable processes, including billing and collections.
• Maintain general ledger accounts and assist in month-end and year-end closing.
• Prepare financial statements, reports, and reconciliations.
• Monitor customer credit and follow up on outstanding invoices.
• Coordinate with operations and documentation teams for invoice accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including GST, TDS, and other tax obligations.
• Assist in audit preparation and liaise with external auditors.
• Reconcile bank statements and shipping line statements.
