Job Title: Accounts Executive

Location: Perambur,Chennai

Job Purpose

The Accounts Executive will be responsible for handling day-to-day accounting activities, statutory compliances, and payroll-related functions, ensuring accurate financial records and compliance with applicable laws.

Key Responsibilities

1. General Accounting

• Maintain books of accounts including vouchers, journal entries, and ledgers
• Handle accounts payable and receivable
• Bank reconciliation and cash/bank book maintenance
• Assist in monthly and year-end closing activities
• Support statutory and internal audits

2. Payroll & Statutory Compliance

• Handle PF, ESI, and other statutory compliances
• Prepare and file monthly PF & ESI returns within timelines
• Coordinate with consultants and authorities for compliance matters
• Maintain employee payroll records and statutory registers

3. Taxation Support

• Assist in GST data preparation, returns, and reconciliations
• Support TDS workings and filings
• Ensure proper documentation for tax compliance

4. MIS & Reporting

• Prepare basic financial MIS reports
• Assist seniors in financial analysis and reporting
• Key Requirements

Qualification: B.Com / M.Com

• Experience: Minimum 3 years experience in General Accounts, PF & ESI
• Industry Exposure: Manufacturing industry preferred
• Gender: Male candidates only
