Accounts Manager

Job Summary:

We are looking for a seasoned Accounts Manager with over 10 years experience in the manufacturing sector to manage end -to end accounting, statutory compliance, cost control, and financial reporting . The role requires strong expertise in factory accounting , inventory management, and Production costing to support operational and strategic decision - making.

Key Responsibilities :

1.Accounting& Financial Control

• Manage complete books of accounts including GL,AP,AR, fixed assets, and bank reconciliations
• Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year- end closing
• Ensure accurate preparation of financial statements in compliance with accounting standards
• Maintain strong internal controls across finance operations

2.Manufacturing &Cost Accounting

• Handle product costing, standard costing, and variance analysis
• Monitor raw material, WIP, and finished goods inventory
• Analyze manufacturing overheads and control productions costs
• Support pricing decisions and profitability analysis

3.Inventory &Stores Accounting

• Reconcile physical stock with books on a regular basis
• Monitor inventory valuations and slow-moving obsolete stock
• Coordinate with stores and productions teams for inventory controls

4.Statutory Compliance & Audits

• Ensure compliance with GST, Income Tax, TDS,PF,ESI, customs, and excise (if applicable )
• Manage statutory, tax and internal auditors
• Coordinate with tax consultants and auditors

5.Budgeting, MIS & Reporting

• Prepare annual budgets and periodic forecasts
• Generate MIS reports including cost sheets, profitability, and variance reports
• Present financial insights to management and plant leadership

6.Team Leadership &Coordination

• Lead and mentor accounts and finance team
• Allocate work, review outputs, and ensure adherence to timelines
• Coordinate with production, procurement , stores , and logistics teams

Required Qualifications & Skills

Educations

• B.Com / M.Com
• CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) preferred

Experience

• Minimum 10 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong exposure to factory accounting, costing, and audits.

Technical Skills

• Hands on experience with ERP systems(SAP, Oracle, Tally or similar)
• strong Excel and MIS reporting skills
• In depth knowledge of GST and manufacturing related taxation
