Anaplan Analyst

You will be part of a small, high-impact founding team that builds the Anaplan planning ecosystem from the ground up — establishing processes, defining standards, generating insights, and delivering outputs that go directly to senior leadership across two of Ford's most important global markets.

• Own and maintain Master Files within Anaplan — including hierarchy management, list updates, version control, and Central Data Hub data validation 
• Continuous improvement of Anaplan models, challenging existing processes and identifying opportunities for automation and simplification.
• Design, build and enhance Anaplan models for forecasting, budgeting, reporting and portfolio analysis.
• Develop automated and standardised reporting that enables actionable insights for senior stakeholders.
• Develop automated driver-based variance analysis between actuals and forecasts/budgets, supporting management reviews
• Strengthen and optimise existing models, ensuring they remain robust, scalable and compliant with best practice.
• Provide high-quality support to local markets and management teams.
• Be the person the team relies on when it matters — whether that means fixing a broken formula before a senior management review, delivering a model improvement within a sprint cycle, or contributing to a major platform release that redefines how Ford plans its connected services business.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new model releases and enhancements — reconciling outputs against source systems before go-live sign-off

 

• BE/BCom/ Bachelor’s degree with 5-6 years of experience/ MBA with 2-3 years of experience
• Anaplan Level 2 Model Building or Solution Architect Certification, 2-3 years of hands-on experience in building/ enhancing models in Anaplan
• Demonstrated experience in leveraging Anaplan for FP&A activities
• Familiarity with iERP or subscription platforms desirable; GDIA / ETL exposure advantageous; Advanced Excel, Data analytics 
• System Ownership Mindset  - You care about data integrity, model performance, and documentation standards. When something is wrong, you find it — you do not wait for someone else to flag it.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills;. Able to articulate data issues, accounting entries, model outputs, and control findings clearly to team members, regional stakeholders, auditors, and IT partners
• Strong analytical skills and curiosity to understand physicals that drive financial outcomes

• Collaborative but Independent You build strong working relationships across GBS India, EU, and NA — but you are also self-sufficient. You do not need to be managed closely to deliver quality work on time.

• Work shift timing: 12:30pm to 10pm IST
