Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by actively monitoring and investigating issues across various critical business systems. This role requires a dynamic approach to identifying problems, analyzing system behaviors, and ensuring smooth operation of multiple interconnected components. The position demands continuous vigilance and proactive engagement to maintain system stability and support business continuity through effective troubleshooting and resolution efforts.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of system issues and minimize downtime.
- Document and communicate findings and solutions clearly to stakeholders and team members.
- Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements to enhance system reliability.
- Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on troubleshooting techniques.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in ServiceNow IT Operations Management.
- Strong understanding of IT service management principles and best practices.
- Experience in incident, problem, and change management within IT operations.
- Ability to analyze system logs and performance metrics to diagnose issues effectively.
- Familiarity with automation and orchestration tools related to IT operations.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in ServiceNow IT Operations Management.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
