Card Operations - Merchant Acquiring Profile

In card operations, a Merchant Acquiring profile refers to the setup and configuration of a merchant (business) to accept card payments (credit/debit) through payment processors or acquiring banks.

Key components of a Merchant Acquiring profile:

- Merchant ID (MID): Unique identifier for the merchant

- Terminal ID (TID): ID for payment terminal/device

- Acquirer: Bank or institution processing transactions

- Payment schemes (Visa, Mastercard, UPI, etc.)

- Risk parameters (floor limits, velocity checks)

- Settlement details (bank account for settlement)

- Fee structure (interchange, scheme fees, acquirer markup)

Typical flow:

1. Merchant onboarding → Acquirer sets up MID & TID

2. Transaction processing → Terminal → Acquirer → Scheme → Issuer

3. Authorization → Risk checks (velocity, floor limit)

4. Settlement → Funds settled to merchant account

Salary Budget - 18500

2nd , 4th Saturdays off along with Sundays.
