ARC Welder

The ARC Welder is responsible for performing high-quality welding operations on automotive components, chassis structures, frames, brackets, and sheet-metal assemblies using Manual Metal Arc welding processes. The role requires precision, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to read technical drawings used in automotive manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform ARC welding on automotive parts, assemblies, and sub-assemblies.
• Prepare and set up welding equipment, tools, and materials.
• Conduct weld repairs, rework, and modifications on vehicle parts.
• Ensure welded components meet industry standards, tolerances, and quality requirements.
• Inspect welds visually and using basic tools (gauges, calipers, etc.).
• Perform grinding, cutting, fitting, and finishing related to welding tasks.
• Maintain equipment and ensure proper housekeeping of the welding area.
• Follow ISO/TS automotive quality standards and in-house production procedures.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols, including PPE usage and safe handling of metals and gases.
