Reporting To: General Manager – Sales & Marketing / Managing Director

Role Overview


The Sales Manager will lead business development, build strong customer relationships, and drive revenue growth across India and global markets. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in solution selling of automated machinery and hands-on exposure with ultrasonic welding applications or industrial automation projects.



Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in target industries – Automotive, Electronics, Medical Devices, Packaging, etc.

• Drive end-to-end B2B sales cycle from lead generation to order closure and post-sales engagement.

• Conduct technical discussions with customers to propose optimal ultrasonic welding or SPM solutions.

• Develop and manage channel partners, distributors, and system integrators.

• Prepare and negotiate techno-commercial proposals, RFQs, and tenders.

• Maintain updated sales pipeline and forecasting using CRM tools.

• Conduct market mapping, competitor analysis, and pricing strategies for different territories.

• Coordinate with in-house design, production, and service teams for timely execution of orders.

• Represent the company in technical exhibitions, workshops, and customer demos.

• Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets and growth KPIs.



Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of Ultrasonic Plastic Welding, SPMs, Robotics, PLC-based Automation, Fixturing & Tooling concepts.

• Solution-driven technical selling mindset with excellent presentation skills.

• Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building capabilities.

• Ability to understand engineering drawings & processes (Mechanical / Mechatronics background preferred).

• Self-motivated, target-focused, and comfortable with extensive client visits / travel.



Education

• B.E / B.Tech – Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electronics, Instrumentation, or equivalent.



Preferred Attributes

• Experience selling to OEMs & Tier-1 vendors.

• Exposure to application trials, process validation, FAT/SAT.

• Knowledge of welding joints, plastics materials, horn design basics, acoustic tooling, etc.
