Job Title: Area Sales Representative – Sunfilm & Paint Protection Film (PPF)

Reporting To: Area / Regional Sales Manager

Job Purpose

The Area Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales, expanding market coverage, and

supporting dealer and distributor growth for 3M Sun Control Films and Paint Protection Films within

the assigned territory. The role requires strong field execution, market understanding, and

disciplined use of ERP and CRM systems.

Key Responsibilities

Market Coverage & Sales Execution

• Achieve sales targets within the assigned territory

• Ensure effective coverage of dealers, installers, and key markets

• Execute daily and monthly sales plans

• Drive secondary sales and order fulfillment

Dealer & Distributor Management

• Maintain relationships with existing dealers and distributors

• Ensure product availability and correct pricing

• Support dealers with schemes and promotions

New Dealer Appointment

• Identify and onboard new dealers/installers

• Support new dealer activation and initial sales

• Expand footprint in untapped markets

Product Promotion

• Promote 3M Sunfilm and PPF products

• Conduct product demos and installer interactions

• Support local marketing and promotional activities

Market Analysis & Research

• Track competitor activity and pricing

• Collect installer and customer feedback

• Identify new business opportunities

ERP & CRM Usage

• Update daily visits, orders, and leads in CRM

• Maintain accurate dealer and sales data in ERP

• Support forecasting and reporting through system data

Candidate Profile

• 2–5 years of field sales experience

• Exposure to sunfilm, PPF, automotive accessories, or building materials preferred

• Working knowledge of ERP and CRM systems

• Strong communication and negotiation skills
