ASO FMCG OTC Job Description:

Job Title: Area Sales Officer (ASO) - FMCG/OTC

Industry: Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG)/Over-The-Counter (OTC)

Reports to: Regional Sales Manager (RSM)

Location: Madurai and Coimbatore

Job Summary:

Responsible for achieving sales targets and expanding distribution networks for FMCG/OTC products in assigned territories.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales and Distribution:

- Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets.

- Ensure product availability and visibility in retail outlets.

- Manage and develop relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and retailers.

2. Market Intelligence:

- Gather market insights and competitor information.

- Identify business opportunities and challenges.

3. Product Knowledge:

- Develop in-depth understanding of FMCG/OTC products.

- Provide product training to retailers and distributors.

4. Customer Engagement:

- Build strong relationships with key customers.

- Address customer complaints and concerns.

5. Sales Reporting:

- Prepare and submit sales reports to RSM.

- Analyze sales data to optimize sales strategies.

Requirements:

- 2+ years of sales experience in FMCG/OTC industry.

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.

- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to travel extensively within assigned territory.

Desirable:

- Experience in FMCG or Nutraceuticals in
