MISSION
Providing

REQUIREMENTS
Education:
BE or
B.Tech. in any stream. MBA in Operations – desirable
Job Related Experience:
Minimum 12 years of
experience in EPC industry or projection execution of firefighting/ fire
alarm systems in large industrial/ commercial establishments with last 5
years in a leadership role like GM, AVP.
Business
Understanding:
Overall
understanding of operations in above mentioned industries. Understanding of
current emerging trends in firefighting systems.
Strategy Deployment
·
Study the short-term as well as long-term
business plan and develop growth and business strategies, goals and action
plans.
·
Get the strategy reviewed and ratifiedbyExecutive
Director – Operations and Technical to ensure alignment with mission/ vision
of the organization.
·
Review the goals periodically and provide
feedback to the functional heads.
·
Strategic inputs to Business Development
(BD) team and ensure performance of BD Team to achieve top-line, gross margin
and receivable targets.
Operations Budgeting and Control
·
Based on volume
& value of orders/projects in pipeline, review reporting functions budget
estimate and consolidate overall operations budget and get it approved by Executive
Director – Operations.
·
Build capacity in
the overall supply chain (including international sourcing) to support
seamless execution of projects.
·
Facilitate goal setting
for all the reporting functions.
·
Ensure alignment of
functional KRAs with NFA’s Business Priorities and Corporate objectives.
·
Keep a tab on monthly, quarterly and half
yearly revenue, billing and cashflow target of Planning & Projects team
Escalation Management
·
Handle escalations related to receivables
management, if it cannot be solved by the Projects team.
·
Handle escalations regarding execution of
projects (Domestic & Overseas, if any)
Policies,
Process & Procedures
·
Design and institutionalise policies,
process & procedures pertaining to project planning, fabrication, site
execution, key account management, Quality Health Safety & Environment
(QHSE) in line with the vision, mission and core values of the company.
·
Ensure adherence of operations at corp.
office & site to QHSE process & procedures.
Resource
Deployment, Planning & Execution
·
Deploy / distribute the budgeted resources
at the department / unit level in order to achieve the targeted results.
·
Monitor the effectiveness of the deployed
resources time to time and take corrective action as needed.
·
Approve any deviations beyond X limit in
project estimation and costing.
Process
Improvements
·
Facilitate functional managers to study
process in their respective fields of expertise and explore the improvement opportunitiesin terms of improvedproductivity&
quality, reduced cost, and lead time by initiating and sustainingpractices like5S
and Kaizen.
·
Encourage and support development &
implementation of alternative solutions to improve the overall productivity
and work out payback.
·
Review and monitor safety statutory and
regulatory compliance.
MIS Reporting
·
Review reports on cost of operations,
execution efficiency, planning accuracy,process improvements, corrective
actions taken and its effectiveness during Management Review Meeting.
People Development
·
Develop and mentor reporting
functional heads to be future leaders and involve in morale building of team
members to enhance
their capabilities to successfully handle current and future job/ role.
