Audit Team Lead

A Team Leader - Audit (or Senior Auditor) plans, leads, and executes financial/operational audits, ensuring compliance with standards, managing junior staff, assessing risks, and reporting findings to improve controls and efficiency for management, requiring strong analytical skills, attention to detail, leadership, and knowledge of accounting/regulatory requirements. 

Key Responsibilities

• Audit Planning & Execution: Develop audit plans, scope, and procedures; lead day-to-day fieldwork for financial, IT, and operational audits.
• Risk & Control: Perform risk assessments; identify and evaluate control weaknesses and operational risks.
• Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and train junior auditors; review their work for quality and accuracy.
• Reporting & Communication: Prepare detailed audit reports; communicate findings, risks, and recommendations to management and stakeholders.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to relevant laws, regulations (like IFRS/GAAP), and internal policies; monitor implementation of recommendations.
• Process Improvement: Suggest ways to improve efficiency, controls, and overall financial processes. 

Key Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: Proven experience as an auditor, often 3+ years.
• Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of auditing standards, risk management, financial reporting, data analysis, and accounting software (e.g., Excel).
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, leadership, and organizational skills; high integrity and attention to detail. 

• Education: Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance. CA Intermediate / CMA Intermediate will be great plus .
