Role

This AVP – Engineering position is ideal for leaders passionate about building and scaling high-performance engineering teams and platforms. You will oversee both technical and people leadership, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative, secure, and impactful solutions. The role emphasizes strategic vision, operational excellence, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead engineering strategy for platform modernization, scalability, and resilience.
• Oversee integration of third-party services and internal systems.
• Own end-to-end delivery of engineering projects with measurable business impact.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, DevOps, and Security teams to ensure timely and quality releases.
• Monitor and improve KPIs such as velocity, defect rate, and system uptime.
• Mentor and grow engineering managers and senior developers.
• Drive performance reviews, career development, and succession planning.
• Champion agile practices, DevOps culture, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and coding standards.
• Communicate goals and recognize achievements in leadership forums.

About You

• Bachelor or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
• 12+ years in software engineering, with 5+ years in leadership roles.
• Experience with vendor management and cross-site team coordination.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and an effective leader.
