Job Title: Pre-Primary Coordinator

Location: Chennai

Salary Range: ₹30,000 – ₹50,000 per month (based on experience & qualifications)

Job Type: Full-Time

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Pre-Primary Coordinator to lead the Pre-Primary section (Nursery to UKG). The candidate will be responsible for academic planning, teacher supervision, curriculum implementation, and ensuring a nurturing learning environment aligned with early childhood education standards.

Key Responsibilities

Academic Leadership

Design and implement age-appropriate curriculum and lesson plans.

Ensure activity-based and experiential learning methodologies are followed.

Monitor classroom delivery and student engagement.

Conduct regular academic audits and observations.

Team Management

Supervise and mentor pre-primary teachers.

Conduct teacher training sessions and workshops.

Support staff in classroom management and child-centric teaching strategies.

Student Development

Track students’ cognitive, emotional, and social progress.

Ensure a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.

Plan and organize events, celebrations, and activity days.

Parent Engagement

Conduct Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs).

Address parent concerns and provide developmental feedback.

Build strong school-parent partnerships.

Administration

Maintain academic documentation and student records.

Assist in admissions and orientation programs.

Coordinate with management for smooth functioning of the pre-primary section.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree (B.Ed. preferred)

Diploma/Certification in Early Childhood Education (Montessori/ECCE preferred)

3–5 years of teaching experience in Pre-Primary

1–2 years of coordination or leadership experience preferred

Skills Required

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills

Excellent communication (English mandatory; Tamil preferred)

Knowledge of NEP & early childhood education frameworks

Good organizational and planning abilities

Basic computer proficiency (MS Office / ERP systems)
