Barista

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and friendly Barista to join our team. The Barista will be responsible for preparing and serving coffee, tea, and other beverages, while providing excellent customer service. This role requires attention to detail, knowledge of coffee brewing techniques, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Key Responsibilities:Greet customers warmly and take beverage/food orders.
• Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and specialty drinks consistently and efficiently.
• Operate coffee machines, grinders, blenders, and brewing equipment safely.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, equipment, and seating area.
• Handle cash, card transactions, and process payments accurately.
• Educate customers on menu offerings, recommend items, and customize drinks based on preferences.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
• Restock ingredients, supplies, and display items as needed.
• Work as part of a team to deliver high-quality service and achieve customer satisfaction.
• Requirements:Previous experience as a Barista or in a customer service role (preferred).
• Knowledge of coffee blends, brewing methods, and latte art (a plus).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
• Basic math skills for handling cash and POS systems.
