Job Description: Business Development Executive – HR Recruitment Services co at Chennai

Location: Chennai

Industry: HR Recruitment / Staffing Services

Experience: Minimum 1–4 years (Freshers with strong sales aptitude may also be considered)

Qualification: Any Graduate / MBA (Marketing or HR preferred)


Role Objective:

To acquire new corporate clients for HR recruitment and staffing services by identifying business opportunities, building relationships with decision-makers, and closing recruitment service mandates.

  • Key Responsibilities: Identify and generate new client leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, email campaigns, LinkedIn, and field visits within Chennai.
  • Pitch recruitment and staffing services to HR Heads, Talent Acquisition Managers, Business Owners, and Senior Management.
  • Understand client hiring needs and workforce requirements across industries.
  • Close client agreements and sign recruitment service contracts.
  • Coordinate with internal recruitment teams to ensure timely delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Maintain and update client information, follow-ups, and lead status in CRM / MIS.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly client acquisition targets.
  • Build long-term relationships and generate repeat business and referrals.
  • Track market trends, competitor activities, and industry hiring patterns.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong business development and sales skills
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities
  • Experience in B2B sales / service selling preferred
  • Knowledge of recruitment processes is an added advantage
  • Target-oriented with a proactive and result-driven approach
  • Good networking and relationship-building skills
  • Willingness to do field sales and client meetings

Preferred Candidate Profile:

  • Prior experience in HR consultancy, recruitment agency, staffing firm, or B2B services
  • Familiar with Chennai corporate market and industrial areas
  • Ability to work independently and close deals
  • Proficiency in MS Office and basic CRM tools
