Job Title: Business Development Manager – Channel & Dealer Sales

Location: Chennai

Salary: ₹35,000 – ₹45,000 per month

Job Objective

We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager – Channel & Dealer Sales to build and manage a strong distributor and dealer network across Chennai. The role focuses on leveraging our local warehouse to deliver fast, accurate, and reliable fulfillment while driving dealer loyalty and consistent order growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Dealer & Distributor Onboarding
• Identify, evaluate, and appoint new dealers/distributors across the Chennai region.
• Channel Sales Development
• Promote the advantage of our local warehouse model, ensuring 24–48 hour delivery with 100% SKU accuracy.
• Relationship Management
• Conduct regular market and shop visits to keep the brand top-of-mind.
• Resolve dealer concerns related to logistics, billing, or supply promptly.
• Upselling & Cross-Selling
• Analyze dealer buying behavior to introduce new product categories and increase wallet share.
• Credit & Commercial Discipline
• Maintain strong relationships while ensuring strict adherence to credit terms and company policies.
• Market Intelligence
• Gather competitor and market insights to support sales strategy and expansion.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Proven experience in Channel Sales / Dealer Sales / Distribution Sales
• Strong understanding of distributor-led sales models
• Fluent in Tamil (mandatory)
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• High empathy with a firm approach to commercial and credit terms
• Willingness to travel extensively within Chennai
