Job Description
Job Title: Business Development Executive – Corporate Gifting
Role Summary:
The Business Development Executive will be responsible for acquiring new corporate clients, driving sales growth, and expanding the company’s corporate gifting business. The role involves lead generation, client meetings, proposal presentations, deal closures, and relationship management.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Sales
- Identify and generate new corporate leads through cold calling, networking, references, and online platforms
- Pitch corporate gifting solutions to HR, Admin, Procurement, and Marketing teams
- Understand client requirements and propose suitable gifting solutions
- Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and customized gifting plans
- Close deals and achieve assigned sales targets
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with corporate clients
- Handle negotiations, pricing discussions, and contract finalization
- Ensure repeat business and referrals from existing clients
- Coordinate with internal teams for smooth order execution post-closure
Market & Growth Activities
- Track market trends, competitor offerings, and pricing
- Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and seasonal gifting campaigns
- Support marketing initiatives such as exhibitions, corporate events, and campaigns
Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain CRM records, lead status, and sales pipeline
- Prepare weekly/monthly sales reports and forecasts
- Ensure timely follow-ups and closure documentation
Skills & Requirements:
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Proven ability to close corporate sales
- Comfortable with target-driven roles
- Good working knowledge of Excel, email communication, and CRM tools
- Professional appearance and confident client-facing approach
Experience:
- 2–5 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or corporate sales
- Experience in corporate gifting, merchandising, events, or premium products is an advantage

- Strategic thinker with execution focus
- Able to perform well during peak gifting seasons
