The impact you will have in this role:
To provide Business Management support to the General Manager, Head of DDRS in the oversight of DDRS business lines including operational, regulatory and business initiatives. Individuals will be responsible for working with DDRS’s business support partners to track major initiatives, SLA’s and general operational processes.
Your Primary Responsibilities:
- Work directly with the DDRS Head in setting the strategy and driving the oversight of business operational support, governance, controls and monitoring benchmarks. Serve as a trusted advisor to the business in assisting to define and direct the strategy, organizational design, key priorities and decisions in pursuit of the vision and business outcomes.
- Support the operationalization of annual business plans including objectives, strategies, and execution plans for the business.
- Produce strategic business presentations and reports for management meetings. Develop monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc reports and materials for Senior Executives and facilitate internal meetings.
- Act as the key contact person to conduct, create content and coordinate the internal business reviews with the DDRS service providers.
- Identify risk mitigating and efficiency opportunities in day-to-day activity and ensure any solutions are implemented consistently across the businesses.
- Utilise available data to produce DDRS information packs such as volume trends in reporting by counterparty, submitter, asset class, reconciliations stats, industry and market trends.
- Support key internal and external governance forums as relevant to the business by developing materials, ensuring critical matters are raised at these forums and ensuring they are resolved by working with cross-functional partners.
- Provide data insights and drive cross-functional coordination to support business decision making.
- Mitigate risk by following established procedures, spotting key errors and demonstrating strong ethical behavior.
- Understands the design, development and maintenance of procedures related to DDRS services.
- Analyze internal business operations and identify areas of process enhancements.
- Coordinates internal and external communications with Product, Operations, Marketing, PR and other stakeholders.
- Track global developments within the CSS business, ensuring DDRS is developing in line with global developments and fostering cooperative relationships with the Global CSS business.
- Maintain and build trusted relationships with key clients and partners.
- Working collaboratively with a variety of regional and global stakeholders in resolving outstanding issues in a timely manner.
Regulatory Oversight Support
- Support DDRS’s management of regulatory relationships.
- Responsible for tracking the Run the Business initiatives, including key milestones and risks.
- Coordinate the escalation and management of any significant regulatory or business operational matters in conjunction with the various ERM, ERO, ORM, TRM, Systems Director and Compliance teams.
Governance Support
- Responsible for preparing meeting materials as required
- Manage the administrative tasks related to governance-related meetings.
- Plan and coordinate meeting dates, including sending calendar invitations, monitoring attendance, collating, and distributing meeting materials, and hosting the hybrid meeting sessions on Zoom/MS Teams.
- Provide ad hoc support for any activities related to governance meetings.
Client Engagement
- Supporting the DDRS Head in the management of the operational interaction with the relevant TR clients and acting as an escalation point, partnering with client facing functions.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of related experience.
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
Talents Needed for Success:
- 3-5 years of financial services or financial technology experience with focus on business, strategy, product and project management. Preference will be given to those with direct experience in Business Management or directly supporting the COO.
- In-depth knowledge of the derivatives or trade reporting industry, trade matching and clearing, derivatives processing and documentation
- Excellent communication (verbal, written) and interpersonal skills with confidence and credibility to manage multiple global relationships, as well as influencing and stakeholder management skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with a results-oriented attitude and a focus on accuracy, high quality standards and timely delivery
- Ability to handle ambiguity comfortably and to conceptualize unfamiliar topics/areas/information, while also proposing logical solutions for the next course of action.
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft applications: Excel/Word/PowerPoint
