C++ Developer – Modern C++, High-Performance Systems, Linux & SQL Expert

Job Summary
Synechron is looking for C++ Developer to design, build, and maintain high-performance, low-latency systems critical to enterprise-grade applications. This role is essential in delivering scalable, reliable software solutions within Linux-based production environments. The C++ Developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive technical excellence, optimize system performance, and contribute to the organization’s success in delivering robust software products.

Software Requirements

• Required:

  • Modern C++ standards (C++11, C++14, C++17, C++20) proficiency

  • Linux operating system experience in production environments

  • SQL for querying and integrating data

  • Debugging and profiling tools such as gdb, valgrind, perf

• Preferred:

  • Experience with build systems (e.g., CMake, Make)

  • Source control tools such as Git or SVN

  • Familiarity with containerization (e.g., Docker) and CI/CD pipelines

Overall Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize high-performance, low-latency C++ applications tailored for enterprise use

• Create scalable, reliable software components that operate efficiently within Linux environments

• Collaborate with architects, QA engineers, DevOps, and product teams to ensure robust solutions

• Perform code reviews and provide technical leadership, ensuring adherence to best engineering practices

• Troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks and production-level issues

• Participate in system architectural discussions and drive sound technical decisions

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of software components and development processes

Technical Skills (By Category)

• Programming Languages:

  • Essential: Modern C++ (C++11/14/17/20)

• Databases/Data Management:

  • Essential: SQL for data querying and integration

• Cloud Technologies:

  • Preferred: Familiarity with cloud platforms or containerization for deployment (optional)

• Conducting code reviews and providing mentorship for software engineering best practices

• Troubleshooting and diagnosing production issues with performance and reliability focus

• Taking ownership of technical decisions impacting project delivery and quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience

• Relevant certifications in C++ programming or software development (preferred but not mandatory)
