Cafe Staff

Responsibilities

• Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, take food and beverage orders, answer questions about the menu, and address concerns or complaints.
• Food and Beverage Preparation: Prepare and serve a variety of items, including coffee, tea, espresso drinks, and light snacks like pastries and sandwiches.
• Operations: Operate the cash register or point-of-sale system, handle cash and credit card transactions accurately, and balance the till.
• Cleanliness and Maintenance: Keep the cafe area, including tables and seating, clean and tidy. Wash dishes and utensils, clean equipment like espresso machines, and follow all health and safety regulations.
• Inventory and Restocking: Restock supplies such as coffee, milk, and disposables, participate in stocktakes, and assist in putting away new stock.
• Team Collaboration: Work effectively with other team members to ensure smooth operations and provide backup as needed.
